The grandest private Egypt tour — seven days spanning Cairo's ancient, Coptic and Islamic monuments, a full-day excursion to Alexandria's Roman and Hellenistic treasures, Luxor's West and East Bank temples, Edfu, Kom Ombo, a hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings, and a sunrise visit to the colossal rock temples of Abu Simbel. Day 1 dives straight into Giza (Pyramids, Valley Temple, Sphinx), Saqqara's Step Pyramid and the ruins of ancient Memphis, with the Sound & Light show at the pyramids at dusk. Day 2 explores Cairo's Coptic Quarter (Abu Serga, Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue) and Islamic Cairo (Amr Ibn Elas Mosque, Sultan Hassan, Al-Rifa'i, Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque) before Khan El Khalili and a felucca sail on the Nile. Day 3 drives 220 km to Alexandria for the Roman Theater, Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Citadel of Qaitbay. Day 4 flies to Luxor for both banks of the Nile. Day 5 rises at dawn for a hot air balloon ride followed by Edfu and Kom Ombo. Day 6 launches at 6 AM for Abu Simbel and a flight back to Cairo.
